It all started in New York, where I, a moderately successful cabaret singer, found myself wisked away to the far shores of Hong Kong. Having no resources, but personality in spades, I became the most famous talk show host in China--a feat considering I speak no Chinese. This was shrewdly parlayed into a number one record "Wo Shi Gweilo." There was nowhere I could go without being pursued by paparazzi. But there was trouble with the Triads, and I had to be smuggled out with a load of bath mats en route to Walmart.
