a pup and her EU passport

Say Cheese Sedra!

Sedra at St Stephen's in Budapest on Christmas Day.
One of the really cool things about Old Europe, aside from how it's always pissing off the Bush admin, is its warm, open attitude toward dogs. They're welcome on trains, in hotels and even some cafes. (Such a shift from Asia where "dog friendly" might mean it's on the menu and served with a nice gravy.) They even provide pets here with passports to make it easy to travel between EU countries. So when we were heading out to Budapest for Christmas, everyone's favorite mixed breed got to tag along. And what an adventure she had...

There were days spent wandering the streets and marveling at all the cool architecture...

Gourmet room service at Le Meridien...

Food comas in plush accommodations...

And just the pure excitement of train travel! Lucky dog.
