Serving Our Community

The RPCV community is not only large, but a diverse groups of highly motivated American Citizens with a unique and valuable knowledge of the world and the countries where they served. Additionally, RPCVs are known to be successful in leadership positions in all sectors of the economy and society—there are six members of congress (split equally by party), thousands of corporate officers, teachers and academics, politicians and public servants. Peace Corps Fund enables RPCVs to tap into their own great resource; through TG activists.

The Peace Corps Fund has become the single source of support for varied projects inspired by those who have already served their country overseas and feel the need to continue their service at home. As simple as classroom and community talks by RPCVs offering presentations about their service and the people they served, to more ambitious programs and seminars that examine issues in the developing world, RPCVs have the ability to advance a greater sense understanding of the world among all Americans. Ultimately, the success of the Fund’s efforts will produce a more informed and active citizenry.

Our specific challenge will be to the fund all worthy projects developed by RPCVs. granting, developing our organizational infrastructure to advance sustained fundraising and support for promoting grant opportunities for RPCVs.
